Cobra 2000 GTL Base Station CB Radio for Sale
The Cobra 2000 GTL base station CB radio is widely regarded as the "Rolls Royce" of base stations, and with very good reason.
These sets were first manufactured in 1977, and thousands were sold right through until the early 1990's when production was stopped. They are still very "sought after" units and many still sell for very solid prices on eBay.
In its very basic form it is a Cobra 148 GTL CB radio that has been placed inside of a base station housing, so it has all the great features found on the 148. The main differences being that the base station includes a frequency counter (was the first base station CB radio to do this)/digital clock, and also requires the use of an external speaker. There is no internal speaker.
