The Cobra 148 GTL 40 channel mobile CB radio is one of the best quality, and definitely one of the most recognised and reliable citizens band radios ever produced.
First manufactured in the 1970's, this model is still in production today. The original design has hardly changed at all.
A few "user requested " modifications (mainly cosmetic) have been made. The front panel microphone connector is now standard. A longer microphone cord is supplied. Tactile controls have been added for easier adjusting while keeping your eyes on the road.
