Picture of the handset part The Cobra 75WXST CB radio is a rather unusual looking design that often gets it confused as a handheld. It is in fact a "remote mount" (also sometimes referred to as "compact") unit, which means that much of the control hardware is installed elsewhere (normally in the boot, or under the dashboard).

All that is then visible is the hand held part.

Technically speaking it is still very much a mobile rig though, and it incorporates all of the advanced technology features that you would expect to find in a modern mobile unit from the market leaders in the field.

It contains the now standard features of Soundtracker® technology (for much better transmit and receive sound quality), and also reception of all 10 of the NOAA weather and information channels.

In addition, it also features a full 40 channel scanning capability, dual watch technology (where 2 channels are simultaneously monitored for traffic), and a super clear, illuminated LCD display.

All controls are easily accessible right on the handset.
